New Jewelry Armoire Just Got Exciting

I have a lot of jewelry.  I love to buy it when it goes on sale at the mall, and I frequently peruse jewelry web sites on the Internet.  Friends and family members who know how much I love jewelry have also given me a lot of earrings, necklaces, and bracelets as gifts for my birthday, Christmas, and other special occasions.  Over the years, I’ve accumulated a lot.  It started to become a bit of a problem because I live in a small apartment and didn’t have any place to store it.  Eventually, I got tired of having various items of jewelry strewn all over my apartment.  It was a pain because I could never find what I was looking for, and once I even lost a beloved earring due to the immense disorganization.  That’s when I decided that a jewelry armoire might be a good investment for me.

I shopped around for quite a while before I made my purchase, just so that I could get a feel for what was out there.  I looked in local department stores, in catalogues, and on the Internet so that I could learn more about my options.  It was also useful because I was able to get an idea of how much money I should expect to spend.  I discovered that there are all sorts of different styles of armoires out there.  I had thought that they only came as big, bulky pieces of furniture with four legs, and looked sort of like small clothing dressers.  That had concerned me, because I was worried that I wouldn’t have adequate space in my cramped apartment for such a large item. 

However, I was lucky enough to find a style of armoire that is mounted to the wall.  Mine is made from oak, and has a mirror in the middle, with compartments for jewelry on both of the sides and along the bottom.  It even has lights along the top so that I can quickly and easily find what I’m looking for.  I’m so happy with my new jewelry armoire, because now all of my jewelry is organized and in one place.  I’ll no longer have to worry about misplacing things or vacuuming them up.  I feel like it was a great investment for me, and that the price was reasonable, especially when you consider that I’ll be able to use it for years to come.
